1992

THE BUSINESS WAS FORMED
CMB Engineering opened in February 1992 as a partnership (Steve & Christine Borley)

1997

LIMITED COMPANY
The Company changed its status to a Limited Company (Borley Engineering Services Limited trading as CMB Engineering)

2005

CMB MAINTENANCE
The Company has now expanded it's activities by opening a new Maintenance Office trading in Cardiff

2007

CMB BRISTOL LTD
In April 2007 a Bristol office was opened trading as CMB Bristol Ltd

2010

CMB ELECTRIACAL LTD
A new Business trading as CMB Electrical Bristol Ltd was opened in 2010

2012

CMB RENEWABLES
A new Business set up to provide Renewable Air Conditioning Services to compliment the Borley Group of Companies

2017

25TH ANNIVERSARY
CMB Engineering celebrated its 25th Year in Business

2017

IQE FOUNDRY TENDER
In July 2017, CMB secured the £40 Million tender for the IQE semiconductor Foundry expansion in Newport. To this day it stands as the largest contract we have secured.

2019

RECORD BREAKING REVENUE
In the 2018 financial year, we achieved a record high turnover of £84.3 Million, a turning point for our company.
TRF TENDER
This industry leading, innovative £39 Million tender is the second largest contract CMB have undertaken and is an insight into what is to come for the future operations of our company.

2004

CMB FYLDE
The Company acquired the assets and contracts of Blackpool based Fylde & Mechanical & Electrical Services

2008

CMB WEST LTD
A Neath office in West Wales operating as CMB West Ltd was opened in January 2008

2016

BBC TENDER
After BBC announced they were moving their Welsh HQ, CMB secured the £16 Million tender. A momentous occasion and a staple in our project portfolio.

2018

CENTRAL SQUARE TENDER
Plot 6 & 7 (comprised of a UK Government Hub building) was a £10 Million contract to further develop the Central Square of our Capital City.
